Meet Jason.
Jason graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Newmarket, Ontario and has been working as an RMT since 1999.
Jason moved out to British Columbia in 2001, and is a recent addition to Nanaimo. Having lived in Vancouver for the past 13 years, he worked in a variety of settings with experiences in both a clinical setting and spa environment.
He has spent additional training in John Barnes Myofascial Release techniques and the Anatomy Trains myofascial treatment series. Jason has also completed courses through the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute, and considers the role that the nervous system plays in both chronic pain management and postural patterns, and how working with it can affect and improve movement.
Outside of work Jason likes to spend time keeping active in the outdoors with trail running, hiking, skiing, and mountain biking; he also has aspirations to be an average guitar and banjo player.

Testimonial for Jason Lescak
I recently saw Jason for the first time when I was experiencing severe nerve impingement in my shoulder and have since booked some subsequent appointments with him for my routine massages. Jason listened intently to what I thought was causing my nerve pain, and did a thorough movement assessment prior to the treatment to see where the possible nerve impingement was coming from, and how he could best treat it.
His thoughtful and thorough approach gave me some relief from the intense pain I was feeling. He also offered up some suggestions for follow up treatment with different types of practitioners if it didn’t improve, as well as some stretches I could do at home to help alleviate the pain.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jason to someone looking for an RMT, and will happily see him again for future sessions.
