Kate Walker, RCC

Kate is a warm, empathetic counsellor who works with teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, chronic pain, and relationship challenges.

Meet Kate.

Registered Clinical Counsellor Kate Walker offers a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey.

Kate brings a sincere, empathetic presence to every session, validating her clients’ experiences while working collaboratively to develop a personalized therapeutic plan. She believes we all have the innate capacity to become self-healers—and with the right support and commitment to the process, deep and lasting change is possible.

Her integrative approach draws from evidence-based modalities that address thought patterns, emotional and relational dynamics, and body-based experiences of trauma. By incorporating nervous system regulation and somatic tools, Kate helps clients work through unresolved trauma that may be showing up as chronic pain, discomfort, or tension in the body.

Kate’s work is rooted in frameworks that promote meaningful and lasting improvement. She draws on additional training in:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Somatic Trauma Therapy
  • Mindful Self-Compassion
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or a loved one, Kate is here to help you reconnect with your strengths, improve your relationships, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
